IX Systems TrueNAS Mini XL+ Features

1️⃣ Enterprise-Grade OpenZFS Storage

The Mini XL+ runs TrueNAS with the OpenZFS file system, which provides end-to-end data integrity. Every block of data is checksummed to detect and automatically repair corruption (bit rot). It also supports RAIDZ (similar to RAID-5/6), mirrors, snapshots, compression, and encryption — all designed to protect critical data.

It includes 8 front-accessible 3.5″ SATA bays, allowing drives to be replaced without shutting down the system. This enables easy maintenance, capacity upgrades, and reduced downtime in business environments.
