Description

The Synology DiskStation DS925+ (Diskless) is a 4-bay network-attached storage (NAS) device designed to provide centralized data storage, backup, and file sharing over a network.

“Diskless” means the unit does not include hard drives or SSDs, allowing users to install compatible drives based on their required storage capacity and performance needs.

This NAS runs Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) — a full NAS operating system — and is designed for home, small office, or business use to:

• Store and share files across devices and users.

• Host backups, private cloud services, and media streaming.

• Support RAID configurations for data protection and performance.

• Expand with extra storage or applications like surveillance or collaboration tools.

Key features include four drive bays (SATA HDD/SSD), dual 2.5 GbE network ports, two M.2 NVMe slots for cache or SSD storage, and support for scalable storage capacity and advanced NAS applications.
