The TDS-h2489FU R2 has four total PCIe 4.0 slots, two of which support PCIe 4.0 x16 or PCIe 4.0 x8, while the other two support PCIe 4.0 x8. PCIe 4.0 has twice the bandwidth of PCIe 3.0, enabling seamless expansion of NAS functionality to support diverse applications.
Please note that Slot 4 is pre-installed with a 25GbE network adapter and Slot 1 provides the width of PCIe 4.0 x16 when slot 2 is not in use, and provides the width of PCIe 4.0 x8 when slot 2 is in use. Slot 3 provides the width of PCIe 4.0 x16 when slot 4 is not in use, and provides the width of PCIe 4.0 x8 when slot 4 is in use. Also, wider cards may be used if the next PCIe slot is not in use.
