Use / Compatibility Notes

• Compatible with Catalyst 9200 / 9200L models that accept the Config‑5 PSU.

• Correct cabling and power infrastructure needed: the PSU draws substantial current when supplying full load + PoE. Ensure the AC side (power cord, breaker, UPS) can handle ~12‑16.5 A. Also ensure ventilation is adequate.

Considerations / Limitations

• You need to check that your switch supports this module (slot compatibility, physical bay, power budget). Even among Catalyst series, not every model will support 1 kW or this form‑factor.
• Adequate ventilation and cooling are important: dissipating ~3,400 BTU/hr at full load requires good airflow. Heat and altitude limitations may reduce maximum reliable output.
• Power source quality matters: clean AC supply, correct connectors, grounding, etc. The holdup time is sufficient for brief interruptions but not for longer outages.
